UsefulCharts.com is a website where different topics are charted. These may be used for handouts and lesson planning. I would have loved the quick one pager for teaching The Four Humours in any of my Shakespeare units. They are sorted visually by order. You might take a peek at the Stanley Cup Winners over time and note when the Toronto Maple Leafs actually last won the cup for instance!
An extension to this would be to have your students take a peek at these and have them come up with their own one pager to demonstrate data, a concept or a timeline in CONTEXT.
